Certificate accounts offer a higher earning potential for members. A minimum balance of $1,000 is required to open with terms from 6 months to 2 years. Dividends are paid at maturity for a 6 month Certificate. One-year and two-year Certificates have dividends paid at the end of each month. There is a substantial penalty for early withdrawal.
